Reviews of Moose Crossing Cabin
Amazing time in Winter Park.
Reviewed by HogFan on 3/28/2012
The Moose Crossing Cabin was an amazing cabin. The cabin took our Spring Break trip from good to great! The cabin has a hot tub which is a nice feature to have after a long day on the slopes. Winter Park Lodging Company accommodates for your every need with out question during your stay. The ease of check-in/check-out is very nice as well. Great experience. I will be back.
Wonderfully relaxing!

Winter Park Lodging was absolutely fabulous with all aspects of booking, arranging for a personalized ski boot fitting at the cabin, helpful with the area and activities available...they were there to help us in every way! The cabin was clean, plenty of towels, and anything that you needed was available in the kitchen. The location was perfect to downtown Winter Park and the Free Shuttle stopped at the end of the driveway every 30 minutes! It was great for the skiers in our group. We loved the privacy of the cabin. A red fox visited the cabin nightly, which we enjoyed very much and the view from the cabin deck was sensational!
When you take close to 4000 pictures need I say anything else?

Everyone was very nice and helpful, making sure we had all that we needed. The home was beautiful, the kitchen was a little smaller than I had envisioned, but it worked. The ping pong table was a hit with both adults and children. The house was close to shopping so that was a plus. This home is a wonderful place to take children, they can run and play and be safe at the same time. And the hot tub certainly goes on the top of the list. My thanks to the owners of Moose Crossing Cabin for sharing your home.
A moose came to visit

My extended family of 15 retreated to this well-equipped, lovely home after my son's wedding. We enjoyed the views out our windows, the comfortable beds, and the games provided. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels, and the friendly service by Winter Park Lodging was much appreciated. Seating for 15 people in a small dining area was a drawback and it would've been nice if hiking, etc., were a bit closer, but we managed just fine.
Wonderful time.

Appreciated the heater in the lower bedroom. There were 14 of us and eating area for 12 - would have been nice to have had a card table, however, everything else was wonderful. Would stay there again.
Perfect for Family Reunion
Reviewed by Winter Park Fan on 7/16/2011
Moose Crossing Cabin was a perfect setting for our family reunion! The layout of home allowed families to have separate space but still be under single roof! Hot tub was a hit; so was the ping pong table. The wrap around deck was the highlight for both mornings and evenings. Winter Park Lodging was very responsive when we had questions and minor issues. Kitchen was very well stocked with all necessary cooking utensils, pots, etc. Large property allowed us to also play games outside. We would definitely return.
Great Sace for Extended Family to Gather

The cabin was well supplied and beautifully decorated. We planned for 16 people and there would have been plenty of room. We ended up with a very comfortable 9 people and everyone had their own space. The sunsets were beautiful from the deck and the night stars were awesome looking up from the hot tub. Winterpark had hiking trails, summer activities at the ski lodge, and jazz concert in the park. One of the high points of our trip was the huge bull moose our grandson spotted on the Frazier River Trail. He posed for pictures in a meadow. We would love to use this cabin as a future meeting place for our family.

Fun times with friends

the cabin was great, the room situation was a little awkward for us b/c we had 3 kids we wanted to set up in the basement bedroom, but then 4 couples for upstairs with only 3 individual rooms so one couple had to sleep in an open loft which is just not ideal. There are plenty of beds for a lot of people if you're comfortable sharing rooms. Hot tub rocked! Shuttle was kind of iffy. It was awesome that they would pick us up right in front of the house, but as my 5 year old daughter and I found out, you'd better know exactly where you want them to stop on the way home or they don't hence they dropped us off about 1/4 mile away from our house and we had to walk with all our ski gear back to the house b/c I didn't identify the stop soon enough. They don't just stop at defined bus stops like they're supposed to. I know, I know, I'm dumb for not recognizing the stop, but it's harder than you think when you show up at night and leave bright and early the next morning to ski. Overall a very pleasant cabin, but I think I'm going to go for something closer to the slopes next time or maybe even a ski in ski out. The shuttle with 2 kids was just a little tuff.

Your Lodging team was 2nd to none with service! Everything we needed or asked was made to happen and so quickly. The house was fabulous. I felt right at home and was a bit sad to leave. Everything was super clean and organized as well. Even when we had issues with one of the borrowed packnplays, you were there right away to exchange. Such great service! Will use again!!
Great for multiple families

Went with 2 other families with kids. House was huge. Wplc had a special in January: get 2nd night free so the price was amazing. The house was large enough for all of us. The kids had their own space up in the loft with 3 large beds in one room and another one just outside. We cooked in the kitchen every night. Used the hot tub every day and played ping pong!
Great ambiance for the occasion.

The service that we received was excellent. The home had a neat lodge look and feel. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms. Several enjoyed the hot tub. Well stocked with kitchen necessities for preparing meals. The location was very convenient but a little difficult to find. We liked everything about it. The downstairs bedroom was a little too cold for the couple that stayed in it. Over all we were very satisfied and hope to be able to visit again!
Family Ski Trip
Reviewed by Grandma on 1/20/2011
Our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children spent a very nice 4 nights at Moose Crossing. The house was roomy and clean and nicely decorated. The only problem we ran into was the short supply of hot water; we could barely get through 4 short showers in the morning. The upstairs room with 2 queen beds/trundle/2 couches/t.v. was a great place for the kids. Someone was there quickly to clear snow one morning; however, we were a bit surprised when we heard the garage door (the home's entry) open unexpectedly when they got their shovels. The kitchen supplies were lacking compared to some other condos we've stayed in. A nice feature was the washer/dryer, though the water wasn't very warm-even later in the afternoon. We asked for and received a pack-and-play, and there was another in the closet. I was afraid the downstairs suite would be quite cold, but a space heater warmed it well. The entry room with the ping-pong table was not very inviting to use. We were to receive free lift tickts because of our early reservation. We had to call from home and then stop by the office to finally get those, but all worked out fine. Also, the directions we were given were confusing. Three of our four vehicles had trouble; the other used a Garmin with the address.
We had a wonderful holiday at Moose Crossing Cabin
